THE SKYCITY BREAKERS with their full playing roster, including CJ Bruton, Tom Abercrombie, Dillon Boucher and Mika
Vukona, will face-off against Australia’s WOLLONGONG HAWKS next Thursday 15th September in a pre-season match that
promises to bring trans-Tasman rivalry to the heart of Hamilton!
Dance and cheer squads headlined by multi-talented artist Massad - who will be singing both his debut single Tear My
Heart Out and his newest single Forget About Me – promise to entertain, while the Breakers resident MC Andrew Dewhurst
looks after crowd participation activities.
Starting at 5.15pm the curtain raiser will be the final of the Waikato regions Secondary Schools Competition. The Semi
Finalists are Hamilton Boys High v Ngaruawahia High School (played at 6pm today Thursday 8 September) and St Johns
College Gold v St Pauls Collegiate (to be played at 6pm on Friday 9 September).
This Breakers v Wollongong Hawkes match is the first in a series of international games held in Hamilton next week with
the Rugby World Cup All Blacks verses Japan semi-final the following day (Friday 16th September) at Waikato Stadium and
Wales verses Samoa on Sunday 18 September.
Public parking will be available through Gate 4 on Brooklyn Road and a great range of food and refreshment options will
be available from 5pm.
