Self described, tourism gurus, Patrick Broadbent and Jamie Bennett who both have had a number of years running tourism businesses, decided that it was time for a one stop shop.

26 year old entrepreneur, Jamie Bennett said, “With the recent success of daily deal sites, it just seemed obvious to incorporate deals into the travel industry”

Co-creator, Broadbent, 26 added, “We thought why cant someone booking a rental vehicle, book their skydive at the same time? Better yet, why cant they get rewarded with a discount for booking a number of experiences all at the same time?”

The Christchurch based duo, claim that due to the earthquake and the high New Zealand dollar, tourism numbers have taken a hit in recent months, so they brought it upon themselves to do something about it. Travel Saver offers an incentive when booking multiple experiences alongside a rental vehicle. The service follows the simple philosophy of, the more you book, the more you save.

“We hope that by offering such competitive pricing on tourism activities, this will stimulate more bookings for travel providers in New Zealand” the entrepreneurs claimed.
