NZ Transport Agency – Auckland Motorways 28 August - 3 September 2011
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at
5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday,
2 September.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Onewa Road southbound off ramp 30 August
AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
• Curran Street northbound on ramp 31 August
• Shelly Beach Road southbound off ramp 1 September
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
• (SH1) Fanshawe Street northbound on ramp 28 - 30 August (approx. 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 31 August - 1 September
(approx. 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 31 August - 1 September (approx. 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 31 August - 1 September (approx. 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH16) Stanley Street westbound off ramp 1 September
• (SH16) Wellesley Street eastbound off ramp 1 September

• Westbound lanes between Royal Road off ramp and Brigham Creek Road Roundabout 28 August - 1 September (approx.

• Royal Road eastbound on ramp 28 August - 1 September (approx. 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 28 August - 1 September (approx. 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
