Be part of Auckland's Opening Night
Two Auckland families will have the opportunity to ride on a Ports of Auckland tugboat as it performs on the water during Auckland's Opening Night celebrations for Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011) on Friday, 9 September. The lucky families will get a ringside view of the largest fireworks and light show display ever seen in New Zealand.
"This is a unique, money-can't-buy experience," says Ports of Auckland Senior Manager - Communications, Catherine Etheredge.
"The Ports tugboats have a special role to play in the choreographed light show. We're delighted to be part of Auckland's Opening Night celebrations and wanted to take the opportunity to share the magic with some lucky Auckland families."
To enter, simply answer the following question: Name one cruise ship that will be in port during RWC 2011.
Answers, along with the entrant's name and phone number, can be emailed to tugboat@poal.co.nz, or download an entry form from www.poal.co.nz and post it to Tugboat Draw, c/o Ports of Auckland, PO Box 1281, Auckland.
All entries must be received by 9am Monday 5 September 2011. Winners of the draw will be contacted by Wednesday 7 September via phone or email. Places are limited to two adults and two children aged over eight for each family. For more information including terms and conditions see www.poal.co.nz.
