Body found in Porirua
A body of a male has been recovered near the Colonial Knob walking track in Porirua this morning.
Detective Sergeant Steve Dunn of the Porirua CIB says, “We are yet to formally identify this person, however we believe it is that of Porirua man 26 year old William Campbell, who has been missing since Wednesday morning this week.
William’s family found the body around 9.30am this morning after putting together a search party consisting of friends and family.
Detective Sergeant Dunn says this death is not believed to be suspicious. A post-mortem examination is yet to be carried out.
