Overnight Motorway Closures: 21 - 27 August 2011
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 26 August.
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
• (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 21 - 25 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 21 - 25 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 21 - 25 August
• SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 21 - 25 August
AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
Curran Street northbound on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 21 August (approx 8pm to 5am)
SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Gillies Avenue northbound on ramp 24 – 25 August (subject to other closures, please check before travelling)
• St Marks Road southbound on ramp 21 - 25 August
• Northbound lanes between Mt Wellington Highway off ramp and Ellerslie-Panmure Highway on ramp 25 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Mt Wellington Highway northbound on ramp 25 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SEART northbound on ramp 25 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Mt Wellington Highway northbound off ramp 21 - 22 August
• Princes Street southbound off ramp 22 - 23 August
NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
• Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Lincoln Road on ramp 21 – 22 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
• Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 21 – 22 August
• Royal Road eastbound on ramp 21 – 22 August
• Westbound lanes between Royal Road off ramp and Brigham Creek Road roundabout 25 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
• Te Atatu Road eastbound on ramp (loop) 25 August
• Te Atatu Peninsula eastbound on ramp (diamond) 25 August
• Westbound lanes between Rosebank Road off ramp and Te Atatu Road on ramp 21 August
• Patiki Road westbound on ramp 21 August
• Rosebank Road westbound off ramp 22 - 24 August
UPPER HARBOUR MOTORWAY (SH18)
• Squadron Drive westbound off ramp 22 - 23 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
• Squadron Drive eastbound on ramp 24 - 25 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
• SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link 21 – 22 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
• Maioro Street (SH20) northbound and southbound lanes between Sandringham Road Extension and Richardson Road continuously until 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
• Southbound lanes between Maioro Street roundabout and Dominion Road on ramp continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
• Northbound lanes between Dominion Road off ramp and Maioro Street roundabout continuously from 9:00p.m on Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
• Dominion Road northbound on ramp continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
• Neilson Street southbound off ramp 24 August
• Massey Road southbound off ramp 23 August
• Northbound lanes between Cavendish Drive off ramp and Massey Road on ramp 22 August
• Cavendish Drive northbound on ramp 22 – 23 August
• Puhinui Road northbound on ramp 22 August
• Northbound Service Road between Cavendish Drive and Puhinui Road 23 August
GEORGE BOLT MEMORIAL DRIVE (SH20A)
Westbound lanes between Montgomerie Road and New Ihumatao Road 21 August
LOCAL ROAD
Sandringham Road Extension all lanes between Stoddard Road and Maioro Street roundabout continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
