Missing Elderly Male
Wellington Police are currently searching in Johnsonville for an 81 year old male caucasian who went missing from a rest home on Earp Street around midday today.
The missing man suffers from dementia and may appear confused if spoken to. He is not very mobile and walks with a stoop, and was last seen wearing a striped blue top, with a green vest, and blue pants.
There is a possibility that he may have been walking around Johnsonville, but then taken shelter from the cold weather. Police would like residents in the area to check their properties and sheds in case he is seeking shelter.
If you have any information that may assist, please call the Wellington Police on 381 2000 or 111.
