OVERNIGHT MOTORWAY CLOSURES
14 - 20 August 2011
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 19 August.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
Southbound lanes between Waiwera off ramp and Orewa on ramp 16 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:30a.m.)
Northbound lanes between Orewa off ramp and Waiwera on ramp 16 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:30a.m.)
Orewa northbound on ramp 16 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:30a.m.)
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
(SH1) Southbound lanes between Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 14 August (approx 11:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
(SH1) Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 14 August (approx 9:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
(SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 15 - 18 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
(SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 14 - 18 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
(SH16) Stanley Street westbound off ramp 14 August
SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 14 - 18 August
SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 14 - 18 August

Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 14 August (subject to other closures, please check before travelling)

NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
Westbound lanes between Royal Road off ramp and Westgate on ramp 14 - 18 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
Maioro Street (SH20) northbound and southbound lanes between Sandringham Road Extension and Richardson Road continuously until 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
Southbound lanes between Maioro Street RAB and Dominion Road on ramp continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 12 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 15 August and again from Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
Northbound lanes between Dominion Road off ramp and Maioro Street RAB continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 12 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 15 August and again from Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
Dominion Road northbound on ramp continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 12 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 15 August and again from Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August

Westbound lanes between Montgomerie Road and New Ihumatao Road 14 August
LOCAL ROAD
Sandringham Road Extension all lanes between Stoddard Road and Maioro Street RAB continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 12 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 15 August and again from Friday 19 August to 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
