OVERNIGHT MOTORWAY CLOSURES
14 - 20 August 2011
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at
5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday,
19 August.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
Southbound lanes between Waiwera off ramp and Orewa on ramp 16 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:30a.m.)
Northbound lanes between Orewa off ramp and Waiwera on ramp 16 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:30a.m.)
Orewa northbound on ramp 16 August (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:30a.m.)
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
(SH1) Southbound lanes between Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 14 August (approx 11:30p.m. to
5:00a.m.)
(SH1) Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 14 August (approx 9:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)

Southbound lanes between Maioro Street RAB and Dominion Road on ramp continuously from 9:00p.m. on Friday 12 August to
