New Logo for RoadSafe HB
RoadSafe Hawke’s Bay has a new logo which places a much stronger emphasis on the current work being done in road safety initiatives.
The new logo uses an odometer design, replacing numbers with letters spelling ROADSAFE.
“It is time to have a new face for RoadSafe Hawke’s Bay as we are a business unit of the Hawkes Bay Regional Council and this reflects the work we do in the community to educate on driver, pedestrian and cyclist safety,” said Linda Anderson, regional manager of RoadSafe Hawke’s Bay.
RoadSafe Hawke’s Bay has a key role in injury prevention on roads across the Hawke’s Bay region.
Their main role is education about speed, alcohol, restraints, and driveway safety for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and the heavy vehicle industry.
The new logo will be used on all new education and promotional material.
The RoadSafe Hawke’s Bay staff are based in Napier, Wairoa and Central Hawke’s Bay and get involved in many road safety education initiatives including youth alcohol expos, checkpoints with Police, heavy vehicle driver information, and speed and restraints education.
They are also involved in developing and providing driver education resource material.
Recently a Youth Alcohol Expo gained a lot of attention, in Hawke’s Bay and nationally, demonstrating to young people the real and practical issues around drinking and drivers.
