Possible sightings of vehicle linked to homicide
A Police canvass of an area believed linked to the disappearance of Brett Hall has provided information which the investigation team hopes will further the inquiry.
Officers attended the area around Santoft Forest, Scotts Ferry and Bulls yesterday and have returned again today. They have been canvassing local residents and workers in respect of a grey Nissan Terrano and its movements around Sunday, 29 May, this year.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Kirby said: "We have reason to believe that this vehicle is linked to the disappearance of Mr Hall. Certainly the area canvass has produced sightings that appear to support our belief and we are following these up to see where they take us.
"There is likelihood that we will consider some searches in that area. We are also reviewing the searches we carried out around Mr Hall's Pitangi home to see what else we might be able to do now we are nearly three months down the track and have collated a wealth of information."
