Police name two teenagers killed in crash
Two young women killed in a road crash in the Manawatu have been named as 17-year-old Holly Ann Eades from Feilding, and 18-year-old Jackie Maree Miller from Sanson.
Holly was the driver of a Ford Laser which lost control and collided with a Range Rover on Stewart Road yesterday as the teenagers headed towards Feilding. Jackie was a front seat passenger in the Ford and the only other occupant of the vehicle.
The driver and sole occupant of the Range Rover, a 54-year-old man from Palmerston North, was treated at hospital for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
