OVERNIGHT MOTORWAY CLOSURES
7 – 13 August 2011
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at
5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday,
12 August.
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
· (SH1) Southbound lanes between Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 13 August (approx. 11:00p.m. to
5:00a.m.)
· (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 7 - 8 August (approx. 10:00p.m. to
5:00a.m.)
· (SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Curran Street on ramp 7 August (approx. 12:00a.m. to
5:00a.m.)
· (SH1) Fanshawe Street northbound on ramp 7 – 11 & 13 August
· (SH1) Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 10 - 11 August
· (SH1) Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 13 August (approx. 9:30p.m. to 7:00a.m.)
· (SH16) Stanley Street westbound off ramp 8 August
· (SH1) Symonds Street southbound on ramp 7 - 8 August
· (SH1) Symonds Street northbound off ramp 8 - 9 August
· SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 7 August (approx. 12:00a.m. to 5:00a.m.)
· SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 7 August (approx. 12:00a.m. to 5:00a.m.)
· SH1 northbound to SH16 Port link 8 - 9 August
SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Gillies Avenue northbound on ramp (subject to other closures, please check before travelling) 7 - 9 August
· Khyber Pass Road northbound off ramp 10 - 11 August
· St Marks Road southbound on ramp 7 - 11 August
· St Marks Road southbound on ramp 13 – 14 August (approx. 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.)
· Ellerslie-Panmure Highway southbound off ramp 9 - 10 August
· Left turn restriction on to East Tamaki Road southbound on ramp 7 – 11 August
NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
· Lincoln Road westbound off ramp 7 August
· Lincoln Road eastbound off ramp 8 August
· Westbound lanes between Lincoln Road off and on ramp 10 - 11 August
STATE HIGHWAY 16 & 18
· All lanes between Royal Road, Don Buck Road and Oreil Avenue 6 August (approx. 6:00p.m. to 7:00a.m.)
HOBSONVILLE ROAD (SH18)
· All lanes between Squadron Drive off ramp and Buckley Avenue 6 August (approx. 3:00p.m. to 8:00a.m.)
SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
· Maioro Street (SH20) northbound and southbound lanes between Sandringham Road Extension and Richardson Road
continuously until 5:00a.m. on Monday 22 August
· Neilson Street southbound off ramp 11 August
· Massey Road southbound off ramp 10 August
· Northbound lanes between Cavendish Drive off ramp and Massey Road on ramp 9 August
· Puhinui Road northbound on ramp 9 August
· Northbound service road between Cavendish Drive and Puhinui Road 9 August
GEORGE BOLT MEMORIAL DRIVE (SH20A)
· Westbound lanes between Montgomerie Road and New Ihumatao Road 7 August (approx. 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
