17 year-old charged with murder over Pakuranga stabbing
A 17 year-old man has been charged with the murder of 18 year-old Warren Rosillo in Pakuranga on Friday night.
The upgraded charge follows provisional results of a post mortem carried out earlier today which indicate that Mr Rosillo died from stab wounds.
The 17 year-old appeared in the Manukau District Court this morning facing charges of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was granted bail but upon release, Police arrested him for the new charge of murder.
He will be held in Police custody overnight and will reappear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow on the charge of murder.
