Winning Winter Warmer For Wellington And Christchurch
Three winners from Wellington and Christchurch will be rubbing their hands in glee, not from the cold, after winning a $333,333 share of Lotto’s First Division this evening, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
“After the wintery blasts that hit the country over the past week, this win will be a welcome winter warmer for these lucky winners,” says Mr McLeay.
“A holiday in the sun will probably be top of their wish-list as soon as they claim their prize,” adds Mr McLeay.
The winning tickets were sold at Khandallah New World in Wellington, MyLotto Christchurch City, and Pak N Save Moorhouse in Christchurch.
Powerball First Division has jackpotted this week and will be worth an estimated $18 million next week.
Strike Four was also not struck tonight, meaning it has jackpotted to an estimated $700,000.
Meanwhile, at Avalon Studios in Wellington, Kreszentia from Takanini spun and won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel was sold on NZ Lotteries’ online channel MyLotto by an Upper Hutt player. The serial number is 161-27940147-20XX.
