Cityfitness Expansion Continues

cityfitness is pleased to announce the opening of their 17th gym in Lyall Bay, formerly occupied by Bodies Under Construction. The company will add this site to its portfolio and will provide service to the south Wellington market under the cityfitness brand.

A New Zealand based company entirely family owned; cityfitness began with one club in Porirua in 2000 and has steadily grown to 16 clubs nationwide over the last 10 years. The Lyall Bay location will compliment the groups 2 inner-city gyms located on Willeston Street and Thorndon Quay and boost the Wellington cluster of clubs that also include Johnsonville, Porirua, Kapiti and Upper Hutt.

cityfitness aims to commence operations from the Lyall Bay site on 1 July and to offer competitive rates for the south Wellington market.
