OSM Website Launches Tomorrow
Dunedin (Tuesday, 14 June 2011) - The Otago Settlers’ Museum is launching its new-look website, at http://www.otago.settlers.museum, tomorrow.
The new site focuses on the redevelopment project, with detailed information on the progress of the building works, concept diagrams and a photostream on Flickr.
Other features include a ‘did you know’ section on some of the Museum objects, up-to-date event listings, education programmes and resources for teachers are also outlined in detail. Social media such as Facebook and Twitter will connect the Museum to the virtual visitor.
"With the support of the Dunedin City Council, the Museum worked with local company, Firebrand, to improve the appearance, navigation and functionality of the website," says Linda Wigley, OSM Director.
