More Benefits for SBS Bank Non-Profit Groups
Hard working non-profit groups around the country continue to reap the rewards from being on board with SBS Bank’s specialised banking package designed specifically for non-profit organisations.
Almost 250 non-profit groups around the country have now shared bonus payments of $390,000 through SBS Bank’s 10 monthly prize draws of $1000 but there have been additional benefits for many more SBS Star account holders through sponsorship packages and a series of bonus investment special payments.
This month 79 non-profit groups around the country have shared in bonus payments totalling almost $5000 after investors got on board with the latest SBS Star Investment Special allowing them to nominate their favourite club for a bonus payment from SBS Bank.
Hospice Southland chief executive officer Nicki Kitson said they were extremely grateful to SBS Bank for all of their personal and financial support.
“We couldn’t provide the level of service and support that is so invaluable to our community if it wasn’t for the generosity of all of our community supporters like SBS Bank and we’re so lucky to have such a giving community here in Southland.
“The bonus payment from the latest SBS Star Investment Special is another little welcome gift from the team at SBS Bank, following their $10,000 donation from the proceeds of the SBS Bank Golf Invitational earlier in the year. We appreciate everything SBS Bank has done and continues to do for us,” Mrs Kitson said.
Gore and Districts SPCA manager Tanya Rowling said at a time when it was increasingly difficult to fundraise, they welcomed all donations to help run their shelter and feed around 40 cats and kittens along with three dogs they currently had in their care.
“Every cent counts and goes towards the cause in an organisation like ours so a little bonus from SBS Bank’s Star Investment Special is a nice surprise.”
Christchurch Single Track Club treasurer Jeff Long said they had recently shifted their banking to SBS Bank and in that short time they had received a high level of support, which had been great.
“Seeing our SBS Star account received a bonus of more than $500 from the recent Star Investment Special was definitely a pleasant surprise. We would recommend all other non-profit groups should check out what SBS Bank can offer them.”
SBS Bank general manager corporate performance Lana Winders said almost 700 non-profit groups had received bonus payments from SBS Bank through the series of investment specials that had been run so far.
“Our people and our communities are a key focus of everything we do at SBS Bank and we’re delighted by the response to our SBS Star banking package and the associated investment specials that we’ve run.
“When we devised
SBS Star with its fee-free transactional banking and 10
monthly prize draws of $1000 we could only imagine how
successful and popular it was going to be. As a New
Zealand-owned community bank we love finding ways of
benefiting our members and SBS Star has certainly
encapsulated that objective.”
