Mahia surfer Richard Christie, second highest ranked New Zealand surfer on the ASP World Tour at 49th, will be couch surfing with the HYUNDAI CODE team this week.

He’ll be joined by up and coming netball star and Mystics defender Kayla Cullen before their semi final clash against Waikato BOP Magic this weekend.

Also this week, Awen learns to surf in Taranaki amongst some of the best female surfers in the world and Oz enters a turbo touch tournament with Eronie Clarke and Frank Bunce – part of a celebrity competition raising awareness around youth suicide.

It’s round three of the Mana Shield this week with Oz, KT, Awen and Ruben competing in a “He Man” challenge which will test both mind and strength .The losers will be shaking their booty in the studio live on HYUNDAI CODE with as they show off their best belly dance moves – complete with costume.

Tune in to HYUNDAI CODE at 8.30pm Thursday and you can also hear the sweet island vibrations of one of New Zealand’s favourite reggae bands House of Shem as they perform in the studio.
