Stuff.co.nz – proven right stuff for news
Stuff.co.nz’s position as New Zealand’s number one news site has been solidified with impressive results for its mobile
site and award recognition.
Stuff.conz is now the number one mobile site in terms of audience size, with nearly five million monthly page
impressions, according to recent AC Nielsen data*.
The stuff.co.nz iPhone/iPad app has also been recognised internationally by being selected as an ‘Official Honoree’ for
the news category in the 15th Annual Webby Awards out of the 10,000+ entries from around the world.
Furthermore, stuff.co.nz is currently a finalist in the ‘Media Brand of the Year’ category the CAANZ media awards.
Nigel Tutt, General Manager - Fairfax Digital, says “these results demonstrate that our mobile offering excels in
fulfilling the needs of those wanting news on the go, but we are also working hard to constantly improve and expand our
mobile offering.”
Complimenting stuff.co.nz’s existing app is their first Android app, which will be released shortly. It’s expected to
feature many of the same components of the iPhone/iPad app including; the most popular news sections, the ability for
users to report the news on the go, share stories easily via Twitter and Facebook, and view videos and photo galleries
within the story.
