Press Release from Handmade For Christchurch
Handmade For Christchurch charity auctions have proudly raised over $13,000 to date, to help those people and businesses significantly affected by the February earthquake in Christchurch.
The brainchild of a group of crafty ladies (most of whom have only met online) motivated to help, Handmade for Christchurch has grown bigger than was ever envisaged. Within the first week our Facebook page had over 1000 likers. People from all over the world have generously donated handmade items with more than 650 now received. These have been successfully auctioned on TradeMe.
Our auctions have been running for over a month with the majority of auctions now complete. However we have a number of larger valued auctions that are currently live . These are due to close on Monday 11 April or Tuesday 12 April next week. We are hoping to attract a lot of attention to these premier auctions to ensure they raise as much money for Christchurch as possible.
These
auctions include a Social Media Marketing Package from
Catalyst90 valued at $1999.
Social media focuses
on building relationships online through platforms such as
facebook, myspace, youtube, linkedin, bebo & digg. It is a
powerful innovative tool that has revolutionised businesses
around the world. Social media has relatively low ongoing
cost, perfect for a business of any size in today's current
economic environment.
Whether a business is having trouble negotiating the social media minefield or hasn’t even considered it yet, they will benefit from this package. Catalyst90 will review the current use of social media in the context of the business’s marketing plan and equip them with result-improving strategies. For those businesses only dabbling in, or not currently using social media, this package will provide a solid framework to use it effectively in the future and keep abreast of an ever changing, fast paced business environment. Catalyst90 will also provide coaching to implement the plan.
