The Christchurch earthquake national commemoration service will be screened in Hastings District libraries.
Hawke's Bay residents have shown deep empathy with the people of Christchurch, affected by the devastating earthquake which struck on February 22nd.
Hastings District Council will be screening live coverage of the National Christchurch Memorial service from 12.30pm on Friday March 18th in public libraries in Flaxmere, Hastings and Havelock North.
The service will conclude at around 2.30pm and includes two minutes silence at 12.51pm, the time the earthquake struck.
The public is invited to visit the libraries to watch the service and pay their respects to the people of Christchurch, as they struggle with rebuilding their lives in the earthquake ravaged city.
