Hilary Barry will return at 4.30pm with continuing live, commercial free coverage in an extended 3 News bulletin before the 6pm news.

Hilary will continue at 6pm with a one-hour 3 News bulletin and stories live from the quake scene in Christchurch from our reporters on the ground including Mike McRoberts.

John Campbell will bring viewers an extended one-hour Campbell Live show from Christchurch.

At 8pm, a special 60 Minutes bulletin will be brought to you by Mike McRoberts and Rod Vaughan who are live in Christchurch and will present a summary of the day’s major events.

Rod Vaughan also has the dramatic story of two families as he follows their desperate search for their missing loved ones that started after the quake hit yesterday.

Rachel Smalley will also be live from Christchurch with the Nightline bulletin later in the evening.

We will return to air tomorrow morning at 6am with Sacha McNeil in studio and Mike and John on the ground in Christchurch for more coverage from the quake scene.
