Wattie’s Can’t Sing and Dance

January 28, 2011

Wattie’s Can’t Sing and Dance

Wattie’s can’t sing and dance, but it can surely make a contribution to the success of this weekend’s Parachute Music Festival says marketing services manager for Wattie’s, Fiona Booth.

“With the emphasis of fun and family, Wattie’s is proud to be a fundraising sponsor. With the Wattie’s Late Night Movie sessions we’re supporting Women’s Refuge, and one can of Wattie’s or a $2 donation will get you into the movies. Wattie’s is kicking off the cause with a 2000-can donation of its own.”

All the fruit for the festival’s Sanitarium Big Breakfast, is also being donated by Wattie’s.

Throughout the festival Wattie’s products – tomato sauce, baked beans, spaghetti, and peaches - will be available to festival goers through the three festival ‘Pit Shops’, the mini-stores operating at the site, for those wanting to top up on food and beverages (non-alcoholic).
