Otago Ratepayers Get Unique Opportunity to Buy Tickets Ahead of the General Public!
Dunedin Venues and promoter Capital C: Concerts are announcing a special pre-sale offer for Otago Ratepayers by providing a special 10 day early booking period ahead of the general public.
From 9am on Monday February 14 Otago ratepayers need only to identify themselves by name and customer number when booking by phone or online to get the very best seats in the house for the concert on November 25.
The General Public on-sale date is February 24 commencing 9am.
David Davies, CEO, Forsyth Barr Stadium commented, “The region has been incredibly supportive of the Stadium so it’s great to be able offer tickets to the ratepayers ahead of the rest of the country. This is going to be a great event for Dunedin and Otago and will set a high standard for events to come.”
The ticket prices for Elton John will range from $95 at the western end of the Stadium to a Platinum front section at $400 with plenty of options in-between. The concert will be totally seated, including the pitch area.
Mayor Dave Cull said “ The Elton John concert is fantastic for the city and region, we are extremely pleased that Capital C: Concerts has chosen Dunedin and has agreed to offer the ratepayers of the region a preferential booking opportunity. We are looking forward to welcoming Elton John to the city and enjoying a wonderful evening of entertainment.”
More great news for Dunedin is the appointment of locally based, award winning business, TicketDirect who will be the exclusive agent for the concert.
Matthew Davey, CEO of TicketDirect International said, "As a proud local business owner, I'm thrilled for the new Stadium and the city - and for TicketDirect to be part of the excitement! Landing an artist of Sir Elton's caliber is a coupe for Dunedin and shows the pulling power of New Zealand's largest indoor Event Venue."
