Cool treat for kids at Christchurch buskers festival
Parents looking for a sure-fire way to keep the kids occupied over the long summer holidays won’t find anything to lick the Tip Top Busker Kid Pitch.
A popular feature of Christchurch’s World Buskers Festival, the Tip Top Busker Kid Pitch is the answer to every parent’s prayers because it provides entertainment tailor-made for young children and their families.
And it’s free!
Gem and Charlie from What Now! are hosting the Kid Pitch, which is sponsored by New Zealand’s favourite ice-cream maker Tip Top and runs daily from 11am to 3pm at the Peacock Fountain, in the Botanic Gardens.
“It’s going to be great fun for the kids so pack a picnic, slop on some sunscreen and come join us for some hassle-free fun,” says Christchurch World Buskers Festival artistic director Jodi Wright.
The Christchurch World Buskers Festival Kid Pitch runs every day from Friday 21 January to Sunday January 30.
