Add Oxfam Trailwalker To Your New Years Resolution List
As the New Year celebrations draw close, the old faithful resolution list reappears. If this year you’re after a new, exciting challenge that will help get you fit, meet new people and help fight poverty and injustice in the world then add Oxfam Trailwalker to your list.
Every year Oxfam New Zealand holds its largest fundraising event in Taupo. In April 2011, more than 1000 participants will be lined up on the start line in teams of four to walk or run 100km of stunning trail in under 36 hours – and you need to be there!
Together with the physical challenge, each team also fundraises to support Oxfam’s vital work in the Pacific and East Asia. Oxfam aims to motivate and support the New Zealand public to take action against poverty and injustice. We believe everyone can play a part in creating a world free from poverty.
Oxfam Trailwalker is your chance to make a difference.
So if by this April 9-10 you want to be able to tick off all those resolutions, add the Oxfam Trailwalker to your resolution list and do something extraordinary.
Challenge yourself, challenge poverty.
