Bomb threat in the Remuera shopping centre

Police are responding to a bomb threat in the Remuera shopping centre.
Remuera Road in the vicinity of Clonbern and Victoria Roads has been closed.
No device has been located but specialist search team members will need to clear the area before it can be reopened.
Police are aware of the impact that the closure will have on businesses in the area and the travelling public and will be reopening the road as soon as possible. People are asked to avoid the area.
