Wairarapa Police seeking 25 year old Tewa TE WHATA

Wairarapa Police are looking for 25 year old Tewa Te Whata, who has warrants for his arrest in relation to a number of serious family violence offences.

Wairarapa Police Family Safety Team Leader Sergeant Glenn Taplin says Te Whata has four warrants for his arrest, with the latest warrant issued by the Masterton District Court on 8 December 2010.

"The four warrants relate to 18 offences, which include six breaches of a protection order, common assault, two charges of assault with intent to injure and two of male assaults female."

Sergeant Taplin says Te Whata is likely to be in the wider Wairarapa area or Wellington and Police want any information as to his whereabouts.
