Arts residencies in Asia calling for applications

Our culture programme has two outstanding opportunities for New Zealand arts professionals to travel and work in Japan or Taiwan in 2011. Applications for the 10-week JENESYS Japan residency for curators close on 14 January 2011. Contemporary arts professionals have until 21 January 2011 to apply for the Taipei Artist Village residency in Taipei City.

Shanghai business study trip open to school leaders

A six-day study trip opportunity in Shanghai in July 2011 is now open for 10-12 heads of business studies departments in New Zealand schools. The purpose of the visit is to deepen educators' knowledge and understanding of Shanghai and China, regional growth and New Zealand business connections, thus better equipping them to increase Asia Awareness in schools.

Trilateral co-operation affirmed at Kuala Lumpur talks
