Suspicious Substance Report Sees Part Of Auckland Cordoned

At 2.30pm this afternoon Police were called to the City Building at 23 Customs Street East after an occupier of the building reported a suspicious substance in the lower car park area of the building.
Police Specialist Search Group, Bomb squad and a bomb dog attended the scene. Following an extensive search of the area, no item of interest was located.
Police had cordoned off the lower part of the city for approximately two hours.
Enquiries are continuing.
