Christmas Comes Early For Lotto’s Latest Winners
Two Lotto players from Auckland and Cromwell have received early Christmas presents, each winning a $500,000 share of Lotto’s First Division on tonight’s draw, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
“With Christmas just around the corner, this is going to be a welcome windfall for these lucky winners – who have obviously been more nice than naughty this year!” says Mr McLeay.
The winning tickets were purchased at Crandall Peters Paper Plus in Manukau and Cromwell New World.
Lotto Powerball jackpotted tonight and will be an estimated $8.5 million next week.
Strike Four was not struck, and will be an estimated $200,000 next week. Meanwhile, Dot Richardson, a grandmother from Auckland, spun and won a huge $500,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington this evening.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Caltex, Upper Hutt. The serial number is 923-32978732-20xx. “Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet." All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
