Entertaining the kids in the school holidays?
The summer school holidays are just around the corner and Hutt City Council’s Leisure Active team has put together an exciting range of fun activities guaranteed to keep the kids entertained.
Go karting, bush walking, softball, Ki-O-Rahi (traditional Māori games), kite making, movies, arts and crafts and swimming are just some of the school holiday activities available for 5 to 13 year olds.
The activities are run from 17 December 2010 to 28 January 2011 and based at three venues across the city: Gracefield School, Belmont Hall and the Hutt Recreation Ground from 9am to 3.30pm. Extra care is available from 8am to 9am and from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
Bookings are now open and are expected to fill quickly. For more information or to make a booking phone 560 0307.
Registration forms are also available from council facilities or can be downloaded from www.huttcity.govt.nz/schoolholidays.
