Christmas cheer hits high note

Christmas cheer hits high note

Lower Hutt’s Town Hall will be filled with song on Sunday 12 December as David Dell’s Take Note Singers fill the auditorium with Christmas cheer.

The Christmas concert is a wonderful way to prepare for the holiday season with the 190-strong choir performing popular sing-a-long carols.

The concert is free, although a donation is appreciated and everyone is welcome to attend.

Lower Hutt Mayor Ray Wallace extends a special invitation to all members of the community.

“This concert is a wonderful family event and a great way to get in the festive spirit,” he says.

The concert has been designed especially to appeal to senior citizens and those with younger families.

The concert starts at 2pm and finishes at 3.15pm.

It is a collaborative event between Hutt City Council and David Dell’s Take Note Singers.

David Dell’s Take Note Singers was established in 2001 and features singers from across the Wellington region ranging in age from 10 years to 80 plus.
