Rates mail goes missing

Council is reissuing rates invoices to the Paraparaumu Heights area because of a failure in the delivery of the invoices to that area several weeks ago.
Council’s local postal delivery agent Go Postal Ltd informed Council that some mail for the Paraparaumu Heights Area was not delivered by them due to the failure of one of their staff to complete the delivery.

To manage this problem and to ensure all ratepayers in the Paraparaumu Heights area receive rates invoices and have time to pay them, the Rates Office has reprinted the invoices for the area and they will be delivered by Go Postal to those ratepayers over the next few days.

Given the circumstances, the Instalment Due Date for Rate Instalment Two for this Area has been extended from 1 December to 24 December 2010.
The Council regrets the inconvenience this postal delivery problem may cause to ratepayers.
