Fabulous Day at Toast Martinborough
21 November 2010
Wine and food lovers from around the country enjoyed a fantastic day out at the 19th annual Toast Martinborough Wine Food and Music Festival.
10,000 enthusiasts soaked up the fabulous atmosphere while tasting award-winning local wines and culinary delights made from local produce, while being entertained by some of the country’s best live performers.
Toast Martinborough General Manager Kaylene Moore reported that seafood and sweet treats were particularly popular this year, with festival goers tempted by delicacies such as West Coast whitebait fritters, Virgin Mary oyster shots and pinot marinated strawberries.
“It’s no wonder that so many festival goers return to Toast Martinborough year after year. The festival has once again lived up to its reputation of providing the perfect setting for enjoying the company of friends, with fine wines, great food and live entertainment – all within picturesque surroundings.” she said.
Tickets to this year’s event were again in high demand, with tickets selling out in just 15 minutes.
