NZSO wraps up their International Tour


The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) has ended the biggest and most successful international tour of its history with a standing ovation in Hamburg. Over the last month, the NZSO have been touring five different countries and playing at the Shanghai expo and eleven concerts in the most renowned concert halls in Europe.

Please see the attached photos from the NZSO’s final concert in Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle-Musikhalle concert hall on Tuesday night (local time). The first photo features Music Director Pietari Inkinen and the NZSO, and the second photo features Pietari Inkinen and Jeremy Wells with the NZSO.

The orchestra arrives home to Wellington Airport at 6pm on Friday 19 November (NZ time) and there will be a noisy heroes' welcome at 6pm with family, friends and fans.
