Man Missing From Home In Forrest Hill

Browns Bay Police are seeking the whereabouts of a man who is reported missing from his home in the North Shore suburb of Forrest Hill.

Police say Eric Jason SHEDLOCK, referred to as Jason, aged 41 years has not been sighted since 9 October 2010 and there are increasing concerns for his welfare and safety. He was at his home on this day when he disappeared.

Mr. SHEDLOCK was reported missing to Police on Thursday 21 October 2010, and despite numerous enquires by family, friends, and associates, his whereabouts remain unknown.

His bank account has not been accessed. He has previously been employed in the construction industry in a variety of roles that include rigging, scaffolding, and dismantling large factories and warehouses. Police and family do not view the disappearance as suspicious.

Police have issued a description of this missing man.

SHEDLOCK / Eric Jason
Male – Maori – aged 41 years
DOB 19 August 1969 – Auckland
Height 175 cm – Medium Build
Clothing – not known
Has dreadlock hair to mid shoulder length.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Eric Jason SHEDLOCK is urged to contact the Browns Bay Police immediately on 09 353 0410. Alternatively people can call anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
