Police Motorcycle Patrol In Crash
Location: Northern Motorway Northcote southbound
District: Waitemata
Police are dealing with a vehicle crash involving one of our Police motorcycle patrols.
The constable has fallen from the Motorcycle on the Northern Motorway as it approaches the Harbour Bridge. Lanes one and two are blocked and traffic backlogs are building. Motorists are advised to avoid the area or face delays until resolved.
The area affected is between Onewa Road and the harbour bridge next to the weigh station.
We are hopeful that injury is minor. Emergency services are still making their way to the scene.
