Live at the Gardens is again pleased to support Hamilton Zoo and this year’s special conservation project is the Southern white rhinoceros.
The team at Hamilton Zoo is doing some remarkable work in the field of white rhino conservation, a species that was on the brink of extinction 100 years ago. Your ticket purchase supports Project Bunty, a fundraising drive named after Ubuntu, the newest addition to Hamilton Zoo’s white rhino herd. The first priority for Project Bunty is to fundraise for the construction of a new rhino shelter at Hamilton Zoo, which would increase the zoo’s ability to breed and contribute to the conservation of this species.
