Police have also seized a large amount of alcohol, substances believed to illicit drugs, a cash till, two refrigerators, five laptop computers, assorted documents as well as over $7000 in cash.

Team Policing Units from Christchurch and the Armed Offenders Squad were called into assist local officers with the search because it was a gang location and the number of occupants at the address. Police were also aware that one of the occupants at the address was arrested recently for alleged importation of a restricted weapon.

The Red Devils are regarded as a puppet gang of the Hells Angels. Members of the Hells Angels and Headhunters gang were located at the address.
