Snapper Launches New Product Range, Website, And Top Up Application.
Snapper announces the launch of its new product range, website and top-up application.
The new Snapper product range includes three new Snapper devices that are smaller and more convenient than the popular classic Snapper card, and a range of accessories to make Snapper more convenient and easier to use.
Different Snappers for Different Lifestyles.
The Snapper Mini is a small card that is about half the size of the classic Snapper wallet card, with a convenient hole and elastic loop for hanging from a key ring, lanyard, or wherever is handy. Minis have a distinctive Snapper inspired design. The Snapper Mini is available as either a red adult card or in green (as the Mini.Jr) for primary or intermediate school children.
The Snapper Sprat is quite simply the toughest Snapper ever with a beautifully small and solid form factor, emblazoned with the unmistakable "I Snapper NZ" design.
Snapper's new product range is available now at participating Snapper retailers or they can be purchased anytime online from the newly relaunched Snapper website, www.snapper.co.nz.
These Snappers can be used anywhere through the Snapper network and are compatible with the recently released MySnapper top-up application. With MySnapper and a Snapper Feeder, customers can top up online anywhere and at anytime.
High Powered, Low Priced.
Snapper's Chief Executive Miki Szikszai says, "With these new products, Snapper is now more convenient than ever. Customers can choose from a range of devices to suit their lifestyles and have more choice than ever in how and when they top up."
"We're amazed at how we have built leading-edge contactless technology into such small and desirable designs as the Sprat and the Mini. We're also pleased that we can offer this world-class technology at such low prices. Our recommended retail prices are $15 for the Mini and Mini Jr, and $20 for the Sprat."
The Toughest Snapper Yet.
"The Snapper Sprat is our flagship product. It's small, it's convenient and it's tough. The Sprat is designed to be hung with your other everyday essentials: a keyring, a schoolbag, a wallet, or a mobile phone. The Snapper Sprat works just like any other Snapper - you can use the Sprat to catch the bus, buy your coffee or pay for your movies. The Sprat can also be topped up and the balance checked just like a regular Snapper. The Sprat can also be electronically personalised so that school students can use it on public transport and receive any child fare concessions and discounts they are entitled to."
"The Sprat and the entire range of 8 Snapper products are available now at participating Snapper retailers, or they can be ordered 24/7 from snapper.co.nz."
MySnapper Top Up Application.
"There are over 125,000 standard Snappers in the market with our existing customers and we've got something for them too. We have released MySnapper which, with a Snapper Feeder, allows online top-ups from all popular computer systems - Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. MySnapper lets customers top-up online, anytime and is available as a free download from snapper.co.nz.
Snapper Accessories For All Snappers.
"While a standard Snapper works well just sitting in a wallet or purse, for those customers who prefer to keep their Snapper card out in the open we've introduced Snapper lanyards ($4.50 RRP) and sturdy Snapper card holders ($3.50 RRP) to protect the cards from everyday wear and tear. These have been especially popular with school children. Snapper accessories can also available from Snapper retailers, Snapper HQ, or anytime from snapper.co.nz."
"Snapper has developed a range of world-class contactless payment devices that suit the needs and budgets of all New Zealanders. Snapper is the magic way to pay for everyday items and we think that customers will appreciate this range of new features."
