At approximately 2.00 am on Saturday 17 April 2010, a 31 year old female was walking on Stanmore Road when she was approached by a male.

This male pushed her into a reserve area on Stanmore Road near the Worcester Street intersection (in close proximity to the Linwood Community Arts Centre) and assaulted her.

A group of young males then approached to assist her and the male ran away.

The male is described as European around 40 to 45 years old of stocky build with a pot belly. He had short dark hair. He was wearing a black knee length jacket and blue jeans.
