Destiny’s Bishop secures more Mainstream TV
Bishop Brian Tamaki returns to midweek mainstream TV from 6am – 6:30am every Wednesday morning on TV3, commencing 24 March.
DTV programme manager Janine Cardno says securing more mainstream television time was a goal for the movement for 2010. This compliments the Streaming Live Worldwide of all its church services which was a first for New Zealand, via the church website and which has a following of thousands.
“We are very excited to have secured this additional opportunity and look forward to bringing messages that are uplifting and empowering for families around our country,” says Mrs Cardno.
She says consideration is currently being given to the themes and topics of the programming based around the Bishop’s preaching.
“Bishop Tamaki has a message that is relevant to our families and the unique social and economic conditions of our country. He again was the first homegrown preacher to break into mainstream TV and I know many people will be tremendously excited to see him back midweek,” she added.
Destiny Television is paid for and produced by Destiny Church.
