North Shore company up for award
Enterprise North Shore has been named as a finalist in the 2010 Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards for the third time.
The North Shore economic development agency is up for the BDO Regional North Island category for its wide ranging support services available to all North Shore businesses.
Chief executive Terry Hoskins is thrilled to be recognised by the prestigious awards. “At Enterprise North Shore we strive to offer an all embracing support system for local enterprises.
“By helping North Shore businesses grow, we are contributing towards our overall role of directly building the local economy. To be a finalist in these awards gives extra confirmation that we are making a difference.
“This is our third time as finalists. Hopefully it will be third time lucky and we may be fortunate enough to win!”
Enterprise North Shore is named alongside three other outstanding finalists in their category; Rotorua Chamber of Commerce, The Web Company and GoFi8ure.
The Vero Awards, now in their sixth year, recognise excellence in business support and honour companies and individuals who make life easier for business owners.
All 37 finalists will have to wait until next year to discover the winners of the 10 categories and overall supreme winner which will be announced at a black tie dinner in the Auckland Town Hall on 20 May 2010.
