NEWS RELEASE

Library sale on again – bargains galore!

Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and journals will be on sale at bargain prices when the annual summer sale starts at the Central Library on Tuesday 8 December.

The sale helps Wellington’s libraries clear space for newer books and other items – so there is always a huge variety of material on offer – and it’s all in good condition.

Every year thousands of avid readers and music lovers gather for the sale. If you can’t make it at opening time on 8 December then don’t despair – because stock is replenished at regular intervals during the sale ensuring there are always fresh bargains to be found.

And they really are bargains – prices start from 50 cents for magazines, with most other items between $1 and $6 and some marked prices.

The sale starts at the Central Library, 65 Victoria Street, on Tuesday 8 December, 9.30am, and ends Monday 21 December.
