Special Evening Arts Hub Forum
Due to the level of interest in the Tuesday morning Free Public Talks on the Opportunities and Challenges for Artists in the Hutt Valley… we are pleased to announce the first of 3 special evening Arts Hub Forums presented by Biddy Grant.
The Arts Hub Forums are a series of talks hosted by Hutt Valley Community Arts, designed to equip our arts community with useful tools to grow their creative artform in a variety of areas. Upcoming talks include Breaking in as a Writer, Low-budget Film-making, Documenting Art Events, Mind/Body Awareness for Artists, and Marketing Art Events.
Funding for Artists
A not-to-be-missed talk by Biddy Grant about the funding opportunies available to art practioners in the Hutt Valley.
We get down to the nitty gritty realities of money available for painters, musicians, writers, and all artists.

She has advised, organised, managed and made art and arts projects in TV, film, theatre, dance, visual arts, festivals, craft arts, street performance, events and employment. Biddy is the CEO of Standing Ovation, an independent arts advisory organisation, which works with many community and not-for-profit groups, to develop their skills and capacity through workshops, resources, training and presentations. Standing Ovation also works with PACE artists in Wellington.
