MAXX makes it easy to enjoy a family day out at Ambury Farm Day
There’s fun and festivities down on the farm this Sunday 11 October, as Ambury Regional Park plays host to the annual Ambury Farm Day. It’s easy, efficient and cost effective to take the family to share in the excitement by travelling on public transport services provided by MAXX.
Ambury Farm Day takes from 10am until 4pm, and it’s simple to get there by bus or by train.
A free shuttle bus will depart from Otahuhu train station for Ambury Regional Park (travelling via Mangere Bridge Township) every hour between 9.45am and 2.45pm.
To get to Otahuhu station, passengers can hop on board any Southern or Eastern Line train and then catch the free shuttle bus from Otahuhu.
Families using the train to get to the Ambury Farm Day can take advantage of the special $20 Family Pass, which is valid for return travel for one adult and five children, or two adults and four children. Family Passes can be pre-purchased at the Britomart and Papakura Ticket Offices this week, and can also be purchased on-board on the day of the event.
The regular 305 bus service departs from Wellesley Street East (outside the ASB) in the Auckland CBD every hour, travelling via Newmarket and Onehunga to Ambury Regional Park. Normal bus fares apply.
