Catch the train to Eden Park for free
Air New Zealand Cup action continues this weekend, as Auckland take on the Bay of Plenty at Eden Park. The match kicks-off on Sunday 30 August at 2.35pm, and fans that are going to the game can catch the train there and back for free, simply by showing their pre-purchased game ticket or Eden Park membership card.
Free travel is valid on all lines to Kingsland station, a short walk from Eden Park from 11.35am onwards, and following the game free travel applies until the close of service. Please remember, free travel only applies to those who show a valid match ticket or Eden Park membership card.
A number of regular bus services also travel on routes via Eden Park and normal fares apply on these services.
Regular services (Normal fares from all stops apply)
· Regular Dominion Road services (routes 25- and 26-) run approximately every 10 minutes from the St James stop on Queen Street.
· Regular bus routes 23- and 24- run approximately every 15 minutes from Victoria Street West in the CBD to Sandringham Road by Eden Park.
Regular New North Rd services (routes 21- and 22-) run approximately every 15 minutes from Victoria Street West to Kingsland shops, a short walk to Eden Park.
Rugby fans heading to the game should allow plenty of time for their journey to Eden Park.
