Mayor John Edwards
It is with great sorrow that the Stratford District Council announces that Mayor John Edwards has passed away after a period of illness.
John Edwards was elected to the position of mayor in 2007 after serving three terms as deputy mayor, and having been on the council since 1995.
The Stratford District Council, Councillors and staff offer sincere condolences to the Edwards family on behalf of the community.
