One week left before Taranaki Passport
expires
Taranaki residents have just one week left to get their Taranaki Passports stamped at the region’s attractions to be in to win a mystery Taranaki family escape.
The campaign, which encourages Taranaki residents to experience the best of our region’s attractions, runs until the end of Queen’s Birthday weekend, Monday 1 June.
Passports with one or more stamp will go into the draw for the mystery Taranaki escape, and those with 15 or more unique stamps will receive a Taranaki gift at the end of the campaign.
“Taranaki has many great attractions that many locals either aren’t aware of or haven’t visited in years,” says Venture Taranaki Tourism Leader Paul Stancliffe.
“The Taranaki Passport aims to fix that, by providing information, hot deals and prizes to get more Taranaki people to Taranaki’s attractions.”
“The Passport has proven very successful, with a lot of interest from the Taranaki community and stocks of passports running low,” says Paul.
“We have seen many locals and visitors to the region pick them up and visit attractions to get stamps, in response to local advertising and promotion by the tourism operators involved.”
The Passport is still available
through Taranaki’s three i-Site information centres at New
Plymouth, Stratford, and Hawera and local tourism operators
involved in the
campaign.
